Throw in some malevolent magic including a small army of reanimated corpses, a secretive plot, lots of derring do, a sinister mystery, and a magical assault that threatens to turn our hero into an instrument of evil. Exciting, occasionally surprising, with readable prose and a diverse set of characters. What more could you ask?”-Don D’ammassa

Greegs & Ladders - By Zack Mitchell and Danny Mendlow

Zack Mitchell

Fantasy / Science Fiction / Humor and Comedy

Greegs & Ladders is a wildly exciting tale of three oddball characters romping around space and time. Equal parts social satire and fun loving adventure, Greegs promises laughs, a few mildly intelligent and/or interesting observations, & several run-on sentences. You'll also get to find out what the hell Greegs are, and how life on Earth came to be, and the meaning of it all (at no extra charge.)Greetings Earth creatures. This book has been dropped off on your planet for the purpose of... well, for you to read it. I'm not sure if you'll like it, I might not if I was you. I'd wager many of you won't be big fans. The investment banking community will especially be... put off by some of what is contained here. An advanced copy was sent to your virtual place of worship 'Reddit' and met with mixed results. While spending nearly a full day on the front page, many Earthlings voiced their stern displeasure with the book. Many others found it lovely. I'm not sure who I'm more concerned for. Either way this is a book I only meant to help with. I know sometimes books, words and ideas can make you humans angry; but then again, pretty much everything seems to do that. In the end, just remember it's only words in a book. Can't we all just get along and go for a swim instead?

Paul Kater

Science Fiction & Fantasy / Humor and Comedy

A short steampunk novel about the happenings around a factory where parts for airships are made...Welcome to Port Carmila, population 15, 725. Half that count isn’t even human, and that’s not including feral zombies, ghouls and ghosts, mostly because they don’t stand still long enough for counting. It’s a melting pot of the living, the immortal, and the dead … where death means you still have to pay the rent, the merfolk are experts in tax evasion, everybody hates the corny Dead Centre of Australia T-shirts sold at the tourist information centre, and the local police encourage you to carry a weapon at all times, regardless of legality. Sometimes the zombies aren’t your much-loved next-door neighbours…When Steve Nakamura is dared—after a long-standing Port Carmila tradition—to seduce a vampire in return for his birthday present, he thinks it will be easy. Scrub up, find a hot undead girl who won’t care that he’ll start shambling the moment he stops breathing, kiss her, earn enough money for a new car stereo. Simple, if he doesn’t mind losing a little blood in the process. The cute and anxious Abe Browning, however, is surely undead and just as surely not a girl, and, as it turns out, that’s the last thing Steve needs to worry about when it comes to hooking up with vampires…

Ethelbert's Sunday Morning

Ethelbert's Sunday Morning

Marcus Freestone

Thriller / Science Fiction / Humor and Comedy

These thirteen short stories range from comedy to drama and horror, and from the mundane and everyday to the downright bizarre.High in the hills above fashionable Montecito, California, slipping in and out of their mansions on Swizzle Stick Road, a ridiculously wealthy family is under siege. A crooked lawyer, a beautiful Chinese pro golfer, and a celebrity-mad plastic surgeon conspire to convince a wealthy family’s patriarch to move his factories from Cleveland to China. But the youngest son, a gay man, gets wind of the conspiracy and fights like a mad dog to stop it.What follows is a brutally funny comedy of grandiose intentions, half-baked revenge, heroic upper crust foolishness, and a passionate cross-cultural romance. David Drum's Introducing the Richest Family in America runs the gauntlet of greed, betrayal and desire as America’s richest family teeters precariously on the edge of dissolution and struggles to right itself again. Some comments:“I loved your daffy characters, they were totally refreshing. Gave me some of the best laughs I had all winter.”--Deb Fowler, Amazon Top 100 Reviewer“Glamorous locales and timely subject matter… engaging and fun. I found it hard to put down.”--Kavita Daswani, author of The Village Bride of Beverly Hills“I do like to read books every now and then that sound like Benny Hill is dashing thorough the pages ahead of me and this one fit the bill perfectly...."--Feathered Quill Reviews“Introducing the Richest Family in America is a riveting read and a solidly recommended one.”--Midwest Book Review

Shallow Breathing

Robert Vrbnjak

Fiction / Contemporary / Humor and Comedy

In the East, Esma is crying and breathing out acid, her Grand Sand Castle and moat a dumping ground for waste. In the West, Wesley wanders his vast WallywoodHills Mansion despised and all alone, his people starving and jobless, their woodlands flattened to make way for Wesley’s factories. And in the South, Shawnee, a former beauty, is losing her looks and her Coral Reef Grotto is cracking and crumbling. What‘s going on, and what’s all this got to do with the lost Pearl? The travellers set off to find out.In turn, eBooks 2-6 take readers to the Four Corners of the World to meet the Great Dragons and learn a little more about each piece of the puzzle of the lost Pearl. As they witness their troubles and the poor state of the people, places and creatures around them, the travellers realise the missing Pearl has a lot to answer for.
